Why has political polarization and divide in America increased? There was a time when Republicans and Democrats could agree to disagree and remain friends, but those days seem to be gone. The Left says the GOP has "moved radically to the Right." The Right says the Democrats have "moved radically to the Left." Is this actually true? In a recent poll asking if the opposing Party is a "threat to American life?" 52% of Biden supporters said yes, while 47% of Trump supporters said yes. In another poll that asked, "if violence is justified to stop the other Party from achieving their goals?" 41% of Biden supporters said yes, and 38% of Trump supporters said yes.
